After beginning this semester of all methods courses, I would be lying if I said I was not a little overwhelmed. Each class will allow me to learn how to be a better teacher and all of them are structured in their own unique way. Science Methods seems to be unlike any class I have ever been a part of in the past. It was good to hear that I will be learning how to teach science, not science content. I don’t consider myself a science person but I have always enjoyed working on experiments with children. They love working with their hands and have a genuine curiosity that makes learning inevitable. I am looking forward to getting into the classroom and seeing first hand how teachers work with students in the science field.
